In the midst of all the chaos of three boys, sippy cups, football practice, and diaper changes, there’s a family of five surviving 👨🏻👩🏻👦🏻👶🏻👶🏻
We have been footballing it around here almost everyday so most afternoons are spent getting Logan off the bus, books read, and everybody fed before loading up and heading to practice. Our little team is killing it out there, and continue to stay undefeated 🏈💪🏻
The baby is now 8 months old, weighs a solid 19lbs, and has two teeth (a bottom and the one right above it). He’s eating like a champ, no matter what you’re having he’s going to have it too. I give him baby food from time to time but for the most part he is to the point of being able to eat something we’re having. He still isn’t sleeping through the night 🙀 Both of the other boys began sleeping 10 straight hours around two weeks old, but not this one! Most nights it’s just 3-4 times but some nights is more. He doesn’t really wake up, just moving and crying enough that I have to get up but once the bottle is in his mouth he usually goes right back out. So this weeks biggest to-do is buy a paci and see if it’ll help. Layton loved his paci and I completely believe that it had a lot to do with how great he slept. Landry naps great so my plan is to keep it hidden and just give it to him when he makes that first nighttime wake up.
This change in weather is changing our lives though. The cool crisp fall air is working wonders for us and it couldn’t be anymore welcomed. The boys love being out but high 90s kinda kill my vibe, so we soak up every bit of the morning freshness. While the coffee is brewing I have started going through the house opening blinds and I swear there really isn’t anything better than some natural light to help you feel good. We’ve been heading to the porch for coffee and breakfast, coffee and fresh air really helps us all get in a happy mood before starting our day. And we are especially loving dinner outside on the patio 👌🏻
